Designer (Data Visualization, UX, Digital) (m/f/d)
As a Data Visualization Designer, you will be a member of a cross-functional team working on the core of value creation for our clients: data visualization (knowledge discovery tools). You are responsible for the user experience of analysts, citizen developers and users and develop pragmatic solutions that help corporations understand their data, gain insights and make informed decisions. We are fortunate to be able to grow this field with our clients right now. This means, the data sources available are highly relevant and the possibilities to develop meaningful applications are practically limitless. You will join a diverse team that relies on mutual trust and open communication that foster creative work, within the agency and with its clients.
- You hold a degree in media informatics, information design, data visualization, human-computer interaction (HCI) or an equivalent qualification.
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the area of data vizualization/data products with relevant credentials on agency or client side.
- You have solid knowledge of relevant tech (e.g. WebAssembly, WebGL) and tools (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- You have practical problem solving skills and experience in interaction design, UX and UI requirements specification, prototyping.
- You are able to collaborate with software engineers to design excellent solutions and manage their implementation.
- You can outline great concepts and ideas for digital products in the environment of international brands.
- You pay attention to details and are empathetic towards team, clients, customers, and users alike.
- You have good oral and written language skills in both German and English.
